Tempest is seeking a highly motivated professional who has the desire to work in a fast-paced environment in a new and exciting role. As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will support one of our top sales teams in closing new opportunities by fulfilling the day-to-day requests, as well as owning strategic sourcing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Sales Team to organize and manage the following for marketing strategy:
  • Demand reports
  • Surplus lists
  • Sales & repair history
• Source and purchase supply for day-to-day sales demand
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers and doing a comparative analysis
• Sending and managing purchase orders to vendors
• Building, developing, and maintaining supplier vendor relationships
• Establishing new vendor sources
• Ensuring reports and databases are up to date and accurate

Location: Santa Barbara, CA

Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 plus bonus potential
