Cubro’s MTP/MPO TAPs are passive fiber breakout TAPs of “breakout” type that copy of your network’s data identically, allowing you to monitor every bit, byte and packet. The small form of the TAPs lets you assemble together three different Slimline (different splitting ratio, or different connectors) TAPs in one RU.
CBR.OPTO-MTP-2 TAP is a passive device and can handle every size of the frame. Acting as though it were inline, the monitoring device connected to the MTP/MPO TAPs provides all full-duplex traffic — including Layers 1 and 2 errors. The MTP/MPO TAPs are compatible with all major manufacturers’ monitoring devices, including protocol analyzers, probes, and intrusion detection systems.
With only one connector, Cubro’s MTP/MPO TAPs add ease to cabling infrastructure projects, and reduce installation times.
