Reduce Tower Costs and Lading
Tower-related costs are a major driver in network TCO. With IRU 600 EHP, network operators can reduce antenna sizes on existing links, upgrade capacity without increasing antenna sizes, eliminate the need for space diversity, or replace larger 6 GHz antennas with smaller ones in the 11 GHz band.
In one project for a state-wide government network, IRU 600 EHP enabled that agency to reduce antenna sizes on 97 links, remove space diversity on 12 links, and reduce the number of six, eight, and 10-ft diameter antennas by more than 36%, compared to the next alternative.
