The CUB.SM-EXA48600-DC Network Packet Broker is an advanced network (G5) packet broker offering filtering capabilities beyond OSI Layer 4. The Sessionmaster EXA48600 Series is based on programmable switching fabric. The Cavium multicore host controller enables filtering features to be accomplished at the hardware level for unmatched performance and throughput. Inner headers of network traffic are also filtered without stripping or de-encapsulating the traffic — critical for applications in overlay networks, such as identifying and filtering on VXLAN tunnels.
