The NT8E05CA is a FDN2400 NET DEMUX. The NT8E05CA series and later demultiplexers comply with SONET Phase II. SONET Phase II provides invalid K-byte detection, both unidirectional and bidirectional switch-mode mismatch detection, and protection-scheme mismatch detection.
